Performance Grade (PG) Bitumen – Advanced Specifications & Applications

Performance Grade (PG) bitumen is engineered using the Superpave system to deliver stable and reliable performance under real pavement temperatures and heavy traffic loads. Unlike penetration or viscosity grades, PG grades are classified based on the maximum and minimum temperatures that the pavement will experience, making them ideal for modern highways and high-performance asphalt mixes.

We provide a full range of PG grades including PG 64-16, PG 70-10, PG 76-10, and PG 82-10. These grades offer excellent resistance to rutting in hot climates, improved fatigue resistance for heavy traffic, and high flexibility against thermal cracking in cold conditions. All PG grades follow AASHTO M320 performance standards to ensure maximum durability and long-term pavement stability.

PG bitumen is widely used in:

  • High-traffic expressways and motorways
  • Heavy-load industrial and logistics pavements
  • Airport runways, taxiways, and aprons
  • Urban roads with frequent braking and acceleration
  • Infrastructure requiring long service life and minimal maintenance

Choosing the correct PG grade ensures superior pavement durability, improved deformation resistance, longer fatigue life, and stable behavior across extreme temperature variations. The analysis table below presents detailed technical values for each PG grade, helping engineers and buyers make precise and project-specific decisions.
